MLB DFS DraftKings GPP Lineup Advice: Thursday (7/26/18)
I am currently traveling around Eastern Europe at the moment and found time for a quick write-up on tonight’s nine-game slate.
Keeping it brief, this set of games seems quite straightforward. Let’s dive in!
Pitchers
Stephen Strasburg (WAS): $12,000 @ MIA
There are plenty of hitters to pay up for tonight, but there is also value. The Nats starter is far and away the best pitcher tonight and in a great matchup. A pitchers park and weak Marlins team. He should score the most raw points tonight.
Ranger Suarez (PHI): $7,100 @ CIN
The rookie is making his MLB debut and has risk attached. However, the southpaw should neutralize the power from Joey Votto and Scooter Gennett. He has shown that he can limit the damage in both Double-A and Triple-A. Hopefully, his skills can translate to the MLB and he comes away with a strong outing. There are few pitchers to like tonight, but I am willing to take a shot on Suarez.
Hitting Stacks
New York Yankees
Jakob Junis has allowed the most homers in the MLB this season and will now pitch in Yankee Stadium against the best offense in the league. It will be warm and the wind is blowing out to left field. Also, Giancarlo Stanton is batting a .410 average in his last 10 games. Only one home run to show for it, but is clearly seeing the ball well.
Oakland A’s
Bartolo Colon.
Philadelphia Phillies
Tyler Mahle has extreme splits to left-handed hitters, owning a .405 wOBA. All lefties are in play. Nick Williams is hitting seventh in the lineup, but has massive power and shouldn’t be left off a stack. The lineup will turn over a lot, giving the hitters plenty of at-bats.
Boston Red Sox
The top half of the lineup are all-stars and the bottom half provide value. Never a bad idea to stack this team.
