The Denver Broncos have allowed over 200 rushing yards the past two weeks.
Both Isaiah Crowell and Todd Gurley ran for over 200 yards when they each played the Broncos. In Week 7 David Johnson gets to go up against them. If there was a game we would see the old Johnson it would be this one. However, Johnson can’t do it himself. The coaching staff has to work to put him in positive situations instead of just constantly running him up the middle. Hopefully, they see how the Jets and Rams beat the Broncos and follow that path.
Jordan Howard’s snap rates have dropped over the last month.
Howard only played 51% of the Bears snaps this past week, his lowest of the season. Next, up the Bears play the Patriots. The Patriots are arguably one of the worst matchups for Howard because there will likely be a negative game script for the Bears forcing them to pass a ton. This game sets up for Cohen way more than Howard and Howard owners should be concerned for Week 7.
Jermaine Kearse is the Jets WR to own if Quincy Enunwa misses time.
Enunwa emerged this year as Sam Darnold’s favorite target out of the slot. When Enunwa went down with an injury this past week, Kearse filled in and performed. Kearse had nine receptions for 92 yards. The Jets play the Vikings who haven’t been the same defense as last year. Fellow rookie Josh Rosen threw for 240 yards on them this past week and Darnold should be able to do more. I expect Darnold to look for his safety blanket in the slot often whether its Kearse or Enunwa.
Austin Hooper is a TE1 and having his own third year breakout.
Hooper has been surrounded by hype since he entered the league due the high powered offense he was on. Well, he finally seems to be getting the usage we always wanted. He has nine catches for over 70 yards in both the last two games and now gets a matchup against the Giants who the Falcons should be able to put up points on easily. With Mohamed Sanu and Calvin Ridley also banged up, Hooper’s role could increase even more.
Josh Gordan is ready to be unleashed in the Patriots offense.
We all know Gordan has the talent. Now he has the trust of possibly the best quarterback in the league in Tom Brady. Gordon only had five receptions and 42 yards this past week, but he was getting targets from Brady deep and in the end zone. Unfortunately, the Bears are somewhat of a tough matchup this week, but this may be your last chance to trade for him before he becomes what we all thought Chris Hogan would be this year.
The Redskins have only given up over 200 passing yards twice this year.
Why is this important? The Redskins play the Cowboys this week and Dak Prescott and Cole Beasley took apart the Jaguars defense. You might be tempted to chase the points for the Cowboys, but that is not a good idea. The only games the Redskins have given up over 200 passing yards was to the Saints and Panthers who both have a much better offense than the Cowboys. Prescott also didn’t even cross 200 passing yards against the Jaguars. I would stay hands off the Cowboys offense in Week 7 beside Ezekiel Elliott if possible.

The highest over/under on the year at 58 points is the Chiefs and Bengals.
The Chiefs are known to get into shootouts. Now it seems Vegas is tired of losing on the over of the Chiefs as well. The Bengals don’t have a terrible defense, but it certainly isn’t great. This is all about the Chiefs defense and the Bengals should be able to take massive advantage of it. AJ Green, Tyler Boyd, Andy Dalton, and Joe Mixon are all great plays this week. Obviously, you are playing your Chiefs as well with their high powered offense. Look forward to a shootout in this one.
DeAndre Hopkins only sees two less PPR points per game against the Jaguars.
Hopkins likely has a date with stud corner Jalen Ramsey this week. As daunting as that might sound you shouldn’t be too concerned. Over the past two years, Hopkins has only seen two fewer points a game when playing the Jaguars than any of his other games over that span. The emergence of Will Fuller and Keke Coutee should only help Hopkins because the Jaguars can’t solely focus on shutting down one player.
The Ravens have only allowed one rushing touchdown the whole year.
In Week 7 the Ravens take on the Saints and their vaunted rushing attack of Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara. I still believe you should start your Saints running backs, but this isn’t a game to feel great about. Kamara owners, in particular, may be worried after his low point total two weeks ago. I expect the Ravens to give up points on the ground, but it is hard to imagine it will be enough to sustain good production for two fantasy running backs. This one could end up being a good game for one of Kamara or Ingram or just so-so games from both.
Tevin Coleman is no longer an auto RB1 when Devonta Freeman is out of the lineup.
Coleman used to be a locked-in RB1 when Freeman missed games in the past. Well, now rookie Ito Smith is allowing the Falcons to play like they still have two quality backs. Coleman only played only 7 more snaps than Smith and Smith actually had two more touches than Coleman this past week. Smith has vultured rushing touchdowns from Coleman the past two weeks and now makes this a two-back committee going forward and even more of a mess once Freeman returns. Coleman is a low-end RB2 moving forward until Freeman returns when he becomes an RB3.
