Brandon’s Week 2 NFL DFS FanDuel Bargains

Sometimes when I am creating a lineup I would like to have a few cheap options to put in there so I can add that extra superstar that has a high upside of having a huge game.  Throughout this season that’s where I will help you out.  I’ll give you a cheap option at every position to use for the Sunday/Monday slate.  Let’s have a great season and win some money!

Quarterback: Joe Flacco $7400
Opponent: at Browns

Until the Browns show me otherwise, this defense is a team you could potentially pick on weekly for cheap production.  Fresh off of letting rookie Carson Wentz throw for 278 and two touchdowns against them, they get to face a familiar foe in Flacco.  With McCown starting for Cleveland this game could be closer than expected, Ravens/Browns games tend to be, as seven of the past nine meetings have been determined by fewer than ten points.

Running Back: Thomas Rawls $6600
Opponent: at Rams

With Russell Wilson potentially not 100% due to an ankle injury suffered last week against the Dolphins, the Seahawks could lean more on their rushing attack.  With news coming out that Rawls will be the featured back this weekend against a weak Rams defense, you could get a healthy return with him in your lineup.

Wide Receiver: Michael Crabtree $6200
Opponent: vs Falcons

Crabtree had a solid Week 1 performance with seven catches for 87 yards and a big catch on a two point conversion in a win at New Orleans.  Now the Raiders have their home opener against a Falcons secondary that just got lit up by Jameis Winston last week.  Things are looking good for the Raiders passing game this weekend.

Tight End: Kyle Rudolph $5000
Opponent: vs Packers

I picked Rudolph as my bargain tight end and he turned in an okay performance against the Titans.  This time he gets bitter division rival Green Bay in the debut of the Vikings brand new stadium.  I expect Rudolph to continue to be a favorite in the Vikings pass offense (despite his four catches he was targeted eight times).  I’m predicting better luck production-wise this time around.

Kicker: Matt Prater $4600
Opponent: vs Titans

I don’t the Lions will find the massive success they had passing the ball this weekend that they did last week against the Colts. While I think this game has the potential to be fairly high scoring, I believe that both kickers should get a decent amount of work in this matchup and since Prater is at home I’ll give him the edge.

Defense: Jaguars $4300
Opponent: at Chargers

With my defensive picks I always try to think outside of the box some.  It didn’t work out too well last week with the Falcons getting torn apart by the Buccaneers, but I have faith that I’ll have better luck this weekend.  The Chargers just lost their top receiving target, and while he was absent from their lineup a lot last season as well, I think they will struggle some in his absence.  The Jaguars will be there to take advantage.

There you have it for this week.  Good luck everyone!
