Top Pitching Options
Felix Hernandez (DK – $11600) – As he was last year, Hernandez has been dominant this year. He’s posting a 2.54 SIERA, 9.04 K/9, 26.6% K rate, and 62.1% GB rate. He doesn’t have an elite matchup as the Yankees have a 0.318 wOBA and 19.5% strikeout rate vs. RHP (both 11th), but his matchup is better than Kershaw’s at Coors field, so if you’re paying up big for pitching, Hernandez is the way to go. Although, I’m not sure you need to today with other better priced options in nice spots.
Jacob deGrom (DK – $9700) – deGrom has pitched extremely well on the year with a 3.12 SIERA (2.71 ERA) and 24.8% strikeout rate (9.0 K/9). While his pitching opponent in Andrew Cashner is tough, the Padres are not a strong team vs. RHP. San Diego has a 0.293 wOBA (26th) and 21.5% strikeout rate (24th) vs. RHP and have not been swinging the bat well lately. deGrom should do well in this pitchers duel.
Jason Hammel (DK – $7800) – Hammel might be the best value of the day at $7800 on DraftKings, the 11th highest priced P. He has a 2.97 SIERA on the year (5th best on the day) and a 24.6% strikeout rate. Hammel has a great matchup against the Marlins who have a 0.291 wOBA (27th) and 20.6% strikeout rate (21st) vs. RHP. As a -130 favorite, Hammel offers great value.

Top Hitting Options
Joc Pederson (DK – $4900) – The Dodgers’ bats have seen their price drop recently, especially Joc with his recent dry spout (although he has picked it up lately). Because of this, some of their bats are reasonably priced for today’s game at Coors. All Joc does is hit HR and should get one or two in this series. Today he’s got a good chance against Kyle Kendrick who has a 5.04 SIERA and 1.93 HR/9.
Manny Machado (DK – $4000) – Machado had a huge day Sunday with 2 HRs, 3 RBIs, and 33 DraftKings points. He’s got a great matchup today against Brett Oberholtzer and should continue his hot streak. Oberholtzer gives up a 0.491 wOBA to RHH and all of the Orioles righties are in play today.
