Fanduel/DraftKings MLB Lineup Advice 5/22/2016

Hey guys, I’m back for another jam-packed Sunday slate of MLB DFS! I’m finally on summer vacation from university so it’s been nice to have no stress from classwork and more time for DFS! Let’s get into who I like for Sunday’s MAIN slate, with a lot of aces on the mound for their respective teams.

Pitchers

Noah Syndergaard – ($13,300 DK, $11,800 FD): I’ll write just a quick blurb here for Thor, he is going to be the chalk cash game play for tomorrow going up against a weak Brewers team at home that’s probably going to be without Ryan Braun. So if you’re not in a “cute” kind of mood, definitely roll with Syndergaard in your 50/50 and double up lineups tomorrow for the awesome strikeout and win potential!

Jordan Zimmermann – ($10,000 DK, $9,700 FD): The former National is lining up to be an elite play tomorrow with a home matchup with the strikeout happy Tampa Bay Rays. Just look at what Michael Fulmer, a rookie, did against the Rays on Saturday (7 IP, 11 K!). His matchup with Tampa ace Chris Archer is tough, so the potential for that 12 point win is going to be less than other pitchers on the slate. I think Zimm is a great tournament option tomorrow, and I would honestly have no reservations playing him in cash games either!

Jerad Eickhoff – ($7,200 DK, $7,100 FD): I bet you’re thinking, these plays are great Brendan but what about a value pitcher play for Sunday in case I want to fit in some expensive bats? Well, look no further than Jerad Eickhoff of the Phillies matching up with the pathetic Atlanta Braves. Eickhoff is reportedly going to use his slider more, which could mean trouble for future hitters trying to figure out the young right-hander’s rhythm. I’m not sure I’d want to use Eickhoff as my primary pitcher on Fanduel, but he is an excellent SP2 option on DraftKings tomorrow so give him a look! He also has a nice win potential with a recent minor league call-up starting for the Braves.

Other options: Kenta Maeda – ($10,600 DK, $9,100 FD), Rick Porcello – ($9,300 DK, $8,500 FD)

Hitters

Manny Machado, 3B/SS – ($5,100 DK, $3,900 FD): Machado is rolling with a cool .331 batting average against right-handed pitching so far this season, to go along with 11 home runs and 23 RBI. So he seems like a lock tomorrow in all lineups against the questionable Jered Weaver of the Angels.

American Dad has me distracted tonight, lol so I’m going to cut my hitter recommendations a little short. Please hit me up on Twitter @FantasyRam with any lineup questions you have! 🙂

Other options: Paul Goldschmidt, 1B – ($4,400 DK, $4,200 FD), Robinson Cano, 2B – ($5,300 DK, $4,200 FD), Odubel Herrera ($4,400 DK, $3,700 FD)
