Quarterbacks

Jameis Winston–Buccaneers

Since he is owned in just 33% of Yahoo leagues, he should be available on your free agent list. He opens the season against the Titans and it makes him a perfect stream this week. He is a high upside player with an easy matchup.

Andy Dalton–Bengals

He is owned in just 27% of Yahoo leagues and he gets a good matchup against the Raiders defense. As improved as the Raiders are as a team, the defense hasn’t improved that much. They should have trouble covering A.J Green, as they lack a CB who is built to hang with a top flight WR. The Red Rifle should start the season on a positive note.

Tight Ends

Austin Seferian-Jenkins–Buccaneers

Another Buccaneer owned in less than 60% of Yahoo leagues. He has looked very impressive in camp, he may be worth rostering this season, but, at this point, he is an excellent streaming option. His combination of speed and size should make him a hard target for the Titans defense to cover.

Richard Rodgers– Packers

He will be the primary pass catching tight end for the Packers this year. The Bears defense is a far cry from the defense we are used to seeing in Chicago. Last season, aside from the RB position, TE was one of the more troublesome positions for their defense to account for.

Eric Ebron–Lions

He is owned in just 9% of leagues, so you can pretty much have him anytime you want. A matchup against the Chargers defense could yield some big plays down the seam to Ebron. Not a bad option if you want a high upside play at the position this week.

Defense

Denver Broncos

A lapse in football knowledge has allowed this D to stay unowned in over 50% of yahoo leagues. If you are streaming defenses, grab this D and keep them, stop streaming, you won’t be disappointed. As for week 1, the Ravens lack the weapons on offense to move the ball consistently on this defense.

New York Jets

This is another defense that should be owned the whole year, that is owned in less than 40% of Yahoo leagues. They open up the season against the Browns. This Browns offense will be like winning the lottery for defensive streamers. Fully expect a large point total here as the Browns will have trouble moving the ball all day.
