This Thursday night matchup features the Baltimore Ravens visiting the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Headline for this game is that the Steelers will be without their star Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. They will look to Michael Vick to get it done.

Fantasy Football: Week 4 TNF Sit/Start

Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens offense hasn’t been consistent, therefore, coming into this game they don’t have a player on their roster who is an automatic start.

Start

Joe Flacco-QB

Flacco has to be a start this week, the steelers secondary has been very poor, I’m expecting him to have a lot of success with the deep ball in this one.

Justin Forsett-RB

It hasn’t been the start that Forsett owners were expecting. There is reason to feel good about this matchup as the Steelers have a soft defense, in addition to room in the rushing game, he should get looks in the passing game. Start him with confidence.

Steve Smith-WR

Coming off a monster game, this may feel like chasing points, but, he is Joe Flacco’s go to target. If Flacco is gonna have a big game, he should have one along with him.

Kamar Aiken-WR

The Ravens are banged up at TE, therefore, they will look to fill the void with their deep threat Aiken, rather than there rookie TE Maxx Williams. The Steelers secondary is ripe for the picking on the back end.

Sit

Crockett Gillmore and Maxx Williams-TE

There is a good chance Gilmore doesn’t dress for this one and even if he does he will be banged up. As for Maxx Williams, I’m not starting him, even if Gilmore misses time, the opportunity will be there, but, rookie TEs don’t have a lot of success in there first year in the NFL. I’m gonna bet on another TE this week.

Lorenzo Taliaferro– RB

I’m not going to bank on 2 RBs in this offense giving me sustainable numbers and neither should you. The bottom line here is no matter how good you think Taliaferro has looked, it doesn’t really matter. Forsett is the man here, he is the better fit for the the system and he isn’t going anywhere.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers come into this matchup with just two guys who are automatic starts and that is Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown. They both may see an impact on their numbers, from Big Ben going down, but, they are elite talents and will still get their points.

Start

Heath Miller-TE

He is an expert at placing himself in the soft spots of defenses, I wouldn’t expect that to change this week. Both back up QBs and bad QBs lean on their TEs. Vick is both of those things, so he should be looking Miller’s way early and often.

Sit

Michael Vick-QB

His better days are behind him and you are delusional if you think he is gonna step in and have the same type of success Big Ben had. There is a clear difference in their level of skill. Stay away from Vick this week. Additionally, the Ravens defense isn’t a bunch of push overs.

Markus Wheaton-WR

Wheaton had some trouble when Big Ben was the QB, I’m expecting Michael Vick to put an end to his fantasy value as Bryant will be back soon. You May commence with the dropping of Markus Wheaton.

Darius Hayward Bay-WR

I can assure you a bomb catcher has little chance to succeed in a Michael Vick led offense. He actually can be dropped at any time.

DeAngelo Williams-RB

Don’t fool yourself into believing the Steelers are going to become a dominant force on the ground and feature 2 RBs. Now that Bell is back, he will get most of the work, D Will’s value has been reduced to that of a handcuff.
