Kyle Busch is Ruining NASCAR

Wow, as if we needed to have Kyle Busch’s name shoved in our faces again, here we have a NEW champion that was crowned after NASCAR changed their rules following his very rough crash at the beginning of the year driving in a series he has no reason racing in.
I am not really for the top tier NASCAR drivers racing in the Xfinity Series which is a way of testing the future talent against the current Sprint Cup series drivers. But week in and week out, it’s always about Kyle Busch or any other Sprint Cup driver who has no reason to race in that series.

Now, I understand the history of the Sprint Cup guys racing in the Xfinity series is to get them more seat time as driver development but this has been a sore spot for me since 2011, how can only 37 wins come to Xfinity regulars in a 4 year period? Simple, NASCAR Sprint Cup regulars like Kyle Busch are driving equipment that places them further and further ahead of the lower competition, less developed teams they face.

Just because of a change that restricts drivers from picking up points in a different series doesn’t change the fact that there are a lot of drivers out there fighting uselessly for points. Like Austin Dillon did in 2013, how is a champion a champion without even a win to show that they really know how to drive? Anyways, it isn’t just Kyle Busch that is destroying the Xfinity series, Brad Keselowski is also a culprit. I can understand that some drivers race in Xfinity for the track experience that is crucial for their next steps in their Sprint Cup car. Many regulars take to the road-course events not as a means of winning but learning about the track and building their skills behind the wheel but this has gotten way out of hand.

I can’t possibly see why the established NASCAR Sprint Cup driver’s continue to race in a series that means nothing for them. Can we say that it is it the sponsors fault? I think so. The sponsors who go out on a limb and provide big bucks to these drivers to basically win with NO real struggle just to have the vanity of their rolling advertisement on TV every time the Sprint Cup guy does something that is considered impressive in the Xfinity series. Qualify 1st, go to the back, get damaged, drive to the front and win. It’s the same formula every single time.

Name a time you’ve seen a big name Basketball player in the lower leagues on a consistent basis? Formula One? I didn’t think so. They need to NASCAR claims that their ratings have gotten better over this past calendar year but I have to say that ticket sales need to be the determining factor in a deeper way, sadly NASCAR is trying to keep their sport going but with the big names always racing in Xfinity they are going to keep losing fans.

I really want to see NASCAR crack down in the Xfinity series and just allow those kids who they tab as the future stars of NASCAR to actually show us what they have without the hindrance of just racing for points and racing against someone who will basically steal the spotlight and have them overlooked as just another driver who is not as good as the guy called Kyle Busch driving around in equipment that is somehow legal but just unfair for the growing Xfinity drivers.

Kyle Busch is ruining NASCAR and someone needs to let them know that it’s getting tiresome.
