Although both of my lineups had decent nights it wasn’t enough to cash. Â That’s what happens when all you get is singles and walks. Â I didn’t have a power source in my main lineup last night, although Price did pitch well. Â On to tonight’s action:
Pitcher: Jordan Zimmermann $8,300
Zimmermann has been up and down this season but as a whole the Nats have been playing really well the past several days and I think that will carry over into tonight’s game. Â This homestand is just what the doctor ordered.
Catcher: Matt Wieters $3,200
Although Buchholz is one of Boston’s better pitchers, Wieters is in a good spot to do damage with that short right field fence. Â Baltimore is another team who’s offense has been clicking lately. Â Don’t be surprised if Wieters takes him deep.
First Baseman: Joey Votto $3,900
The Pirates have been giving up a ton of hits lately and Votto is a career .286 hitter off of Gerrit Cole.
Second Baseman: Robinson Cano $2,600
Over the past six games Cano has finally started to hit the ball well. Â And with Duffy of the Royals making a return start from the DL I think the hits will keep on coming. Â Cano is my Ultimate Gut Call.
Third Baseman: Joey Gallo $3,100
The Rangers hitter faces Oakland’s Graveman who’s surrendered five or more hits in each of his past five starts. Â Gallo has been slumping recently but this is a good spot to get back on track.
Shortstop: Brandon Crawford $2,800
Ian Kennedy has been pitching better recently but I feel he will regress back to how he was pitching earlier this season against a very good hitting Giants team. Â Expect a couple of hits from Crawford tonight.
Outfielder: Curtis Granderson $2,900
Granderson has homered two of his past three games and faces a pitcher in the Brewer’s Nelson that surrenders a hit per inning on average.

Outfielder: Lorenzo Cain $3,200
Cain has been on fire the past 10 days at the plate and I want to see if I can get in on the action. Â He has five multi-hit games in his last nine starts.
Outfielder: Giancarlo Stanton $4,900
Stanton has a tough matchup tonight in Jaime Garcia, but there’s only one at-bat in history between the two. Â I think Stanton has another good game against the Cardinals tonight.
Confidence Level: 4 out of 5
I feel pretty good about this lineup. Â It should get me back on track in 50/50s. Good luck everyone!
