This is my gut feel for tonight’s slate of games. If there are any gametime scratches adjust this roster accordingly
Pitcher: Corey Kluber $11,100
A pitcher with 109 strikeouts on the season at home vs a struggling Mariners offense. Don’t like the steep price but I like the potential for a big game. He’s been over 20 points three of his last five starts, including a 21 point performance at Seattle on May 28th (13 strikeouts that game).
Catcher: Miguel Montero $2,600
With a pitcher this expensive you have to go cheap in a few spots, and catcher is a spot I usually go cheap at. Although he’s struggled the past couple of weeks he got on base every game in the series at the Nats (homer in the first game, two walks each of the next two games). He should get on base against Sanchez, a pitcher who has given up more than five hits each of his last six starts.
I like his chances against a left handed Lester who’s been up and down this season. I expect a homer out of Miggy tonight.
Second Baseman: Danny Espinosa $2,600
I love going cheap at second base on nights like this. I like him over Utley who’s 1-18 in his past few games and Parades who’s facing Boston’s Rodriguez who’s been pitching very well.
Third Baseman: Mike Moustakas $2,400
Two hits in his last two games and facing a pitcher with an ERA near 4.50, I like my chances. Ultimate gut call here.
Shortstop: Xander Bogaerts $2,600
2.75 points or more four of his last five games and a cheap price. Another big time gut call here.
Outfielder: Matt Kemp $2,700
Kemp has scored 5+ FanDuel points two of the last three game and the Fathers (I mean Padres) offense has shown signs of life. I think that continues tonight.
Outfielder: Casey Granderson $3,000
He’s a personal favorite of mine. A solid leadoff hitter with power for a low price. One of the few nights I don’t use him and of course he hits two solo homers. I want to be there if he has another good game. Heston has been rocky so I’ll roll with Granderson tonight.
Outfielder: Josh Reddick $3,200
My most expensive outfielder playing at home against a pitcher who only has 40 strikeouts in 65 innings pitched. Sounds like a good night for contact and I have a good feeling about this matchup.

A lot of lower costing players on the roster tonight. High risk/high reward! I’m personally entering a 50/50, double up, and throwing it in a GPP just to see what happens. Good luck tonight!
