MLB FanDuel Gut Feeling 7/11- 4:05 and 7:15 Lineups

Thanks to Brain Dozier’s heroics in the ninth inning against the Tigers, my FanDuel Survivor Pool team lives to fight another day!  Wieters and Cole also contributed to the cause.  The next round isn’t until July 17th.  Comment below if you’re also still alive in the pool and which players have helped you the most.  In light of it being the weekend and that I have two lineups to give tonight I’ll keep the analysis short.  Don’t forget to check about 10 minutes before first pitch for any possible scratches.  Here are my lineups for today:

4:05 Lineup

Pitcher: Dallas Keuchel $10,400
Catcher: Evan Gattis $3,400
First Baseman: Joey Votto $3,300
Second Baseman: Brandon Phillips $2,800
Third Baseman: Nick Castellanos $2,600
Shortstop: Adeiny Hechavarria $2,300
Outfielder: Charlie Blackmon $4,400
Outfielder: Melky Cabrera $2,800
Outfielder: Colby Rasmus $2,700

Keuchel has won four of his past five starts and Tampa hasn’t been hitting well which is a great combination for points from the pitching slot.  Melky Cabrera has at least one hit in every game in the month of July.  My Ultimate Gut Call for this lineup is Nick Castellanos.  Ever since Cabrera went down his production has really picked up.

On to my evening lineup:

7:15 Lineup

Pitcher: C.J. Wilson $7,900
Catcher: Matt Wieters $2,800
First Baseman: Albert Pujols $4,300
Second Baseman: Cesar Hernandez $3,000
Third Baseman: Manny Machado $4,300
Shortstop: Xander Bogaerts $3,000
Outfielder: Hunter Pence $3,000
Outfielder: Justin Upton $2,700
Outfielder: Jacoby Ellsbury $4,000

With Wilson having a somewhat favorable matchup against the Mariners, I was able to stock up on some of my favorite hitters who have been on hot streaks in Wieters, Machado, and Bogaerts.  My Ultimate Gut Call is Justin Upton.  Tonight will be his second game back from injury and I feel he will have a big game against Colby Lewis and the Rangers pitching staff.  Pence and the Giants also have a very favorable matchup against the Phillies tonight.
