NBA Fanduel Lineup Advice 3/7/15 **Updated**

NBA Fanduel Lineup Advice 3/7/15
NBA Games for Saturday 3/7/15

Another high scoring night in the Fanduel world. If your team wasn’t well into the 300’s, you weren’t going to make the cut. Overall, all my call outs played well, with the biggest call-out being Oladipo. At his price he had a huge game, unfortunately for me, the Vucevic news increased Oladipo’s ownership percentage to the point that he couldn’t help me much.

As I write this, I’m watching the Warriors/Mavs game needing Curry to have a good game for me to place in my late night and full slate GPP’s and one 50/50. If that happens, it’ll be a good night, if not, then I didn’t make the cut in any of my lineups.

Tonight’s slate is a little more manageable. It’s right in that sweet spot of 8 games. I’ve run through the players in tonight’s games, and at first glance it looks like the Dunks and Passes is going to be a very small list. Normally my Dunks are players under the 6K mark, and there just aren’t very many that have good match-ups.

So let’s get to the Top 10…

Today’s Top Ten Plays

NBA Fanduel Advice 3/7/15
Andrew Wiggins

10) SF Andrew Wiggins $6700 I had a hard time filling out the 10th position tonight. There just aren’t that many good match-ups, nor that many top-notch players today. I ultimately decided on Wiggins because I felt he was the safest bet for 30 Fanduel points. Portland is a tough match-up for him, but he scored at or just under 30 versus the Clippers, Grizzlies, and the Wizards over his last 5, all of whom are good defensive teams, so queue him up for 30 tonight.

NBA Fanduel Advice 3/7/15
Rudy Gay

9) SF Rudy Gay $7400 I said, when the Kings hired Karl, that he would be either really good for Gay, or really bad. Up until last night, it wasn’t looking so good, but with 58 Fanduel points last night, things are looking up. The Heat are a tough match-up unless Deng is out again. Either way, bad match-up or not, Gay checks in at number 9.

Paul Milsap

8) PF Paul Milsap $7500 I went with another power forward last night versus the 76er’s expecting a big game, Derrick Favors, and he was a bit of a disappointment. Tonight, I’m going to suggest another power forward versus them, and again I expect a big game. 76er’s just don’t have the front-line to deal with Atlanta, spoiler alert, Horford is on this list too.

NBA Fanduel Lineup 3/7/15
Anthony Davis

7) PF Anthony Davis $11200 Davis would be higher on this list if it weren’t for the match-up, but even against Memphis, you can’t leave him off this list entirely. In his 2 games back, he has 78 and 53, granted that was versus inferior defensive teams, but I don’t see slow-footed Randolph or Gasol being able to guard Davis.

NBA Fanduel Advice 3/7/15
Al Horford

6) C Al Hordford $8200 As I alluded to earlier, 76er’s frontline isn’t good enough to hang with the Hawks.  I’m expecting a strong double double, 20 and 15 is obtainable for him.

NBA Fanduel Advice 3/7/15
LaMarcus Aldridge

5) PF LaMarcus Aldridge $9600 I feel like no one talks up Aldridge enough, and whenever I use him in my lineups, he is way under-owned. I can’t explain the reasoning though, as he is one of the best players in the game right now. He had a bit of an off game versus Dallas, even though he started off well, but with a 40, 45, and 58 FDP nights previous to that, he’ll eat up the Wolves.

NBA Fanduel Lineup 3/7/15
James Harden

4) SG James Harden $11000 Another day at the office for Harden last night, a trip-dub and 65 Fanduel points versus Detroit. Denver won’t have an answer for him either, as they are 6th worst over the last 3 weeks versus the shooting guard position.

NBA Fanduel Lineup 3/7/15
DeMarcus Cousins

3) C DeMarcus Cousins $10600 I mentioned yesterday, that despite having Whiteside, a great defender, the Heat aren’t very good versus the center position. Gortat went out and had a double double with 14 points and 17 rebounds. Cousins could get 28 and 20 and I wouldn’t be surprised.

NBA Fanduel Lineup 3/7/15
Ricky Rubio

2) PG Ricky Rubio $8100 I said the other night when talking up Chris Paul, that after that night, the Trailblazers could go from 5th worst versus the point guard to thee worst after Paul had a big game. That’s exactly what happened. They’ve had a game in between in which they faced the Mavericks, and have “improved” to 5th worst again. That’s a long way to say they are bad versus point guards, and Rubio is balling. 50+ can be expected.

NBA Fanduel Lineup 3/7/15
Lebron James

1) SF LeBron James $11200 LeBron had a tough game versus the Hawks in a “Showcase” game for the East. After the game James said, and I quote “I sucked today”. The Suns have no hope of stopping him, I’m going to go out on a limp, and say he won’t suck today.

Dunks of the Night

  • SG Will Barton $4700 Tonight’s Dunks will leave a lot to be desired. Barton has been up and down over his last 4, if he follows the trend he is on, he’ll be big tonight.
  • SG JR Smith $5700 The Suns play the type of game that Smith can be good against. Fast-paced with lots of shots put up. If his shot is falling, could get you 30.
  • SF DeMarre Carroll $5500 I told you there would a lot to be desired. Carroll is as good a Dunk as I can find, and I don’t even feel that strongly about him.

Passes of the Night

  • PG John Wall $9100 Has played well the last 2 games, but the Bucks will control the pace of this game, Wall just won’t have enough volume to get to 40+ tonight.
  • SG Eric Bledsoe $8900 Just when you think you can trust him, he lets you down. Predicting the let down tonight.

That’s all I have for Dunks and Passes tonight. Just not a lot of mid-level value tonight.

I don’t have a ton of time, so I won’t be able to post my “Things You Know..” Today. I’m quickly going to run through some punts plays for you. Most of these are dependent on injury news that has yet to come out.

  • Tyler Johnson/Shabazz Napier- Either one could be good if Dragic and Chalmers is out.
  • Jason Terry – There is chance that Patrick Beverly sits out, if he does , Terry is a decent play.
  • Gary Neal – if he plays, he still got 29 minutes with Kevin Martin back in the lineup, and produced.
  • Michael Beasly- Played well in a near come back versus the Wizards. A few Heat players may end up sitting, so he could get some decent court time.

That’s all I got. Good luck!
