NBA Fanduel Lineup Advice and Analysis for 3/31/15

NBA Fanduel Lineup Advice and Analysis 3/31/15
NBA Games for 3/31/15

Rough night for my Fanduel line-ups. I might have one that will cash, but it won’t be enough to cover my investment. Can’t win them all I guess.

Looking at tonight’s slate, there isn’t a lot to get excited about. It’s only a 4 game slate, and though there is a ton of star power, there is very little value to had, so fitting in that star power will be difficult.

I’ll most likely avoid cash games tonight, since it’ll be hard to build a team without a few punts, and I try not to punt when playing cash games.

On another note, I working with 2 potential bloggers for DFS MLB, so for those of you that play, I hope to have some good content up soon. I just need to figure out the logistics.

Tonight’s post will be short, as there isn’t enough players to do a full post, but since there is a ton of star power, I’ll do my Top Ten. After my Top Ten, I’ll just list a few value plays, but there isn’t many. So let’s get started.

Tonight’s Top Ten Plays

NBA Fanduel Lineup Advice and Analysis 3/31/15
Tony Parker

10) PG Tony Parker $6100 Kicking off the Top Ten is the point guard of one of the hottest teams right now. They are peaking at the right time, and will be deadly in the playoffs. In DFS terms, Parker may be a little under valued, which is something we love to exploit. Looking at his last 2 games, you might think I’m crazy for saying he is under-priced, but they were against 2 tough defenses, and the Mavericks game was a blow-out. The Heat are not very good at defending the point guard position with Dragic on the floor, and I expect Tony to go for 30+ tonight, with the caveat that he plays at all. You never know with Pop.

George Hill

9) PG George Hill $7400 Hill has been pretty good lately, with a 40 point and 50 point game in his last 4 games. The last time he played the Nets he had 35, and at his price tag, you would be happy with that. I think he’ll make a push for 40 again tonight.

Klay Thompson

8) SG Klay Thompson $7000 Klay doesn’t make my Top Ten often, as I feel he is too scoring dependent, but he gets the nod tonight for a couple of reasons. One, his price tag is pretty low for someone who can easily go off for 50+, but someone who is also good for right around 30 Fanduel points a game. Two, JJ Redick will be guarding him. I think I’d could take JJ off the dribble. Klay will get whatever shot he wants. Finally, Draymond Green is taking a rest day, meaning more shots for Klay.

NBA Fanduel Lineup Advice and Analysis 3/31/15
Steph Curry

7) PG Steph Curry $10100 Klay’s back-court mate checks pretty low, at number 7, for one reason, the Chris Paul factor. Chris held Westbrook in check for the most part, and he’ll can make Curry work for everything as well. I’m not predicting Chris to shut Curry down or anything, but he may have a hard time reaching value. With that said, on a 4 game slate, Curry is still the 7th best option tonight.

NBA Fanduel Lineup Advice and Analysis 3/31/15
Blake Griffin

6) PF Blake Griffin $8800 This is the first time I can remember Blake being under 9K for a long time, and that’s why I think he is the 6th best option tonight. He had 46 Fanduel points the last time he played Golden State. He missed their last game due to injury. Golden State, without Dray, will have no answer for Blake. David Lee? Yeah right.

NBA Fanduel Lineup Advice and Analysis 3/31/15
Reggie Jackson

5) PG Reggie Jackson $8600 Ladies and Gentlemen, Reggie Jackson has arrived. In five straight games, and 6 of his last 7, he has gone over 40 Fanduel points, twice going over 50. Atlanta has struggled all season guarding the point guard position, nothing will change that tonight.

NBA Fanduel Lineup Advice and Analysis 3/31/15
Kawhi Leonard

4) SF Kawhi Leonard $8200 The “do everything” guy for the Spurs loves to play the Miami Heat. His only game against them this year he had 39 Fanduel points, and I expect him to be even better tonight. He’ll be mid 40’s tonight and will fill the box score.

NBA Fanduel Lineup Advice and Analysis 3/31/15
Brook Lopez

3) C Brook Lopez $8200 Who would have thought Lopez would ever make the Top Ten after everything he went through about a month ago; being benched, being nearly traded, and having his playing time cut considerably. Over his last 6 he has games of 41, 52, 54 and 65! At $8200, his baseline value is at 37 Fanduel points, a mark he has failed to reach just once over his last 6, a game versus the Cavs, and he still had 28 in that game.

NBA Fanduel Lineup Advice and Analysis 3/31/15
Andre Drummond

2) C Andre Drummond $9400 Here I go again putting Drummond in my Top Ten. I never seem to hit on this guy. Every-time I pick him to be good, he falls flat, but three 50 point games in his last 4 means I can’t ignore him tonight in a good match-up with Atlanta. He hasn’t played well against Atlanta this year, but he has been too good lately to ignore.

NBA Fanduel Lineup Advice and Analysis 3/31/15
Chris Paul

1) PG Chris Paul $10400 In his last 10 games, he has only scored less than 35 Fanduel points once, and in that span has two 40 points games, three 50 points games, and one 60 pointer. “Chris Paul, you’re the real MVP”-Kevin Durant voice. Ok, maybe not, but you won’t find a more consistent, high output point guard in the league not named Westbrook.

That wraps up the Top Ten for today. I’m just going to list  few other players I like for today, which could change with any breaking news. For now, this is who i’m looking at.

  • SG KCP $5300
  • SF Harrison Barnes $4300
  • SF Matt Barnes $5300
  • SF CJ Miles $4600
  • PF Udonis Haslem $5100
  • PF David Lee $4300
  • C Tiago Splitter $5000
