SMITE God Review- AGNI

Hello and Welcome SMITE fans, and welcome to the SMITE God Review for Agni. Agni is a very capable Mage who is nearly always played in the Mid Lane. His great clear, poke, and escape from ganks make him one of the best Mid LaneMages in SMITE.
Lets take a look at Agni’s kit to see exactly why Agni is a great Mage!

Combustion (Passive)

After hitting with 4 Basic Attacks, Agni will gain a Buff. On the next cast of Flame Wave or Rain Fire, all enemies hit by those abilities will be additionally set ablaze, taking damage every .5s for 3s.
Damage per Tick: 5 (+10% of your Magical Power)

REASONS–

• This Passive is a great way for Agni to secure kills with the DOT (Damage Over Time).

• This Passive is great in a Team Fight because the little bit of Magical Damage can make the difference between a Win and a Loss.

Noxious Fumes (Ability 1)

Agni summons a cloud of noxious fumes at his ground target location, doing damage every second. Firing any of Agni’s abilities into the fumes detonatesthe gas, Stunning all enemies in the radius.
 Ability:

Ground Target Radius: 20

Cost: 60/70/80/90/100

Cooldown: 12s

Damage per Tick: 10/20/30/40/50 (+5% of your Magical Power) Fumes Duration: 10s Stun Duration: 1s

REASONS–

• This ability is the reason Agni is a great Team Fight Mage. The Stun it provides can get Agni an Assist. While the Agni’s Team Carry can get fed.

• In a 1v1 situation, Agni has a great advantage because, when Noxious Fumes is cast and another of Agni’s ability is cast on Noxious Fumes the enemy inside the radius will take damage from the ability and be stunned, which can seriously danger the enemy and put them out of position. This sets up a chance for Agni to use his Ultimate. The whole combo mentioned, can kill half an enemy mages health bar.

Flame Wave (Ability 2)

Agni summons a wave of fire in front of him that scorches all enemies in its path. Ignites Noxious Fumes.
Ability: Line Cost: 60/70/80/90/100

Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11s

Damage: 90/140/190/240/290 (+50% of your Magical Power)

REASONS–

• This is purely Agni’s clear and main source of damage.

Path of Flames (Ability 3)

Agni blazes a path forward in a quick dash, leaving flames trailing behind him. Any enemies passing through the flames catch fire and burn for damage every .5s for 2s. Ignites Noxious. Agni is immune to Knockback while dashing.

Ability: Dash Cost: 70/75/80/85/90
Cooldown: 15s
Damage per Tick: 20/30/40/50/60 (+15% of your Magical Power) Path Duration: 3s

REASONS–

• This is where Agni gets most of his mobility. In the early game, he can use this as an escape from mid lane ganks. In the Team fight phase, most Agni’s will use this as an initiation or an escape.

• Agni can use this in a team fight by dashing into the fray, and sprinting away. This is a great combo because, it will remove Agni from harm, while helping his team damage the enemy.

Rain Fire (Ultimate Ability)

Every 20 seconds, Agni gains a flaming halo that can be expended to summon a giant meteor at his ground target location. He can summon 1 every .8seconds. Ignites Noxious Fumes.
Ability:

Ground Target Radius: 20

Cooldown: Dependent on Halos Damage: 160/195/230/265/300 (+60% of your Magical Power) Max Halos: 3

REASONS–

• This ability is great in a 1v1 situation because, Agni, can cast Noxious Fumes under you and then cast his ultimate so the enemy will be stunned, giving Agni a chance to escape, or to use his combo to finish you off.

• This ability can be used to great effect in many, many team fight scenarios. While the enemy team are all bunched together, Agni can use his Noxious Fumes under you then use his ultimate to stun everyone in the enemy team.

• This is also one of the best ultimates in SMITE because it doesn’t require mana to cast, and it does tonnes of damage
