SMITE God Review- HADES

Hello and Welcome SMITE fans, and welcome to the SMITE God Review for- Hades, the KING of the UNDERWORLD…

Hades is suit for nearly all the roles, except for ADC. He does well in the Solo Lane and the Mid Lane because of his damage and sustain, he can go in the Jungle Role, but does not excel as he does in the other roles. So, lets find out why Hades is a Jack-of-all-trades!

Blight (Passive)
Hades’ normal staff attacks apply a Debuff to the enemy, called Blight. This Debuff stays on the target and can be refreshed. If an enemy is afflicted by Blight, each of Hades’ other powers have an additional effect.
Ability: Debuff Duration: 5

REASONS-

• This Passive sets up all of Hades’ other abilities, aside from that, this Passive doesn’t do much.

Death From Below (Ability 1)
Hades descends into the ground and erupts from below at his ground location, doing damage to all enemies in the area. If the enemy is Blighted, they are also Slowed. Applies Blight.
Ability: Leap Radius: 20
Cost: 50/55/60/65/70
Cooldown: 12s
Damage: 50/85/120/155/190 (+60% of your Magical Power)
Slow: 20/25/30/35/40% Slow Duration: 2s

REASONS-

• This ability is Hades’ escape and initiation. This ability is why Hades can also be played in the Support Role.
• This ability lets Hades’ get close to his target, because most of his abilities don’t have a far range.

Shroud of Darkness (Ability 2)
Hades Silences all enemies in a cone in front of him. If the enemy is Blighted, they are also Feared. Applies Blight.
Ability: Cone Cost: 80
Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11s
Silence: 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2s

REASONS-

• This ability sets up his Ultimate Ability, when the enemy is silenced, Hades can cast his Ultimate.
• Players reading this might think- “Huh, Silence and fear, meh…”, but, the Silence is very powerful because it leaves the enemy vulnerable.
• The “Fear” in this ability can give Hades some time to escape. Cast his Shroud of Darkness, and “Death From Below” out.

Devour Souls (Ability 3)
Hades devours the souls of his enemies, dealing damage in a radius around him. If the enemy is Blighted, the enemy explodes dealing damage to nearby enemies and healing your allies. Enemy gods only take 50% of the damage from detonating Blights. Consumes Blight.
Ability: Area Radius: 20
Cost: 65/75/85/95/105
Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11s
Damage: 75/115/155/195/235 (+70% of your Magical Power) Detonated Damage: 20/27/34/41/48 (+50% of your Magical Power)
Detonated Healing: 30/40/50/60/70 (+15% of your Magical Power)
Detonation Radius: 20

REASONS-

• This ability is Hades’ main source of damage.
• This ability is why Hades can be played in the Solo Lane. The heal is actually pretty strong.
• This ability is why Hades can be played in the Support Role, but because it’s very hard to heal others with this ability, Hades’ can’t do a lot.

Pillar of Agony (Ultimate Ability)
Hades calls to all enemy souls nearby, pulling them closer to him over time, doing damage every .5s for 4s. If the enemy is Blighted, their Protections are reduced. Hades also gains Protections for the duration.
Ability: Area Radius: 30
Cost: 100 Cooldown: 90s
Damage per Tick: 45/60/75/90/105 (+30% of your Magical Power) Protections: 40/50/60/70/80
Protections Debuff: 10/15/20/25/30
Protections Debuff Lifetime: 4s

REASONS-

• This ability is one of the coolest looking abilities in the game.
• This is how Hades can get his kills, this is the destination for all of Hades’ other abilities.
• This ability, although very powerful for a fed up Hades, forces Hades to stay still, making him still vulnerable.
