As we close out week 6 and start-up a new week, let’s take a look back at some of the things that happened in week 6 and of course a look forward to week 7.

NEWS
Cameron Wake is amongst the top stories when it comes to week 6 news. He finally found his way back onto the stat sheet and he did it in a big way, recording 4 sacks and 2 forced fumbles. Hopefully for all the wake owners out there, he can continue to produce and you can go back to feeling good about playing him every week.
Another man who is coming off a big game last week is Karlos Dansby. He recorded 7 tackles and 2 interceptions. One of which he took to the house for a TD. I like Dansby’s talent, but, old man Peyton Manning helped him out last week.
On the other hand, we also had some guys come out and look pretty bad this week. A good example is Mario Williams. He was only able to record one tackle last week and only has 2 sacks on the year. Few players have underwhelmed like him this season.
A matchup against Jacksonville might be exactly what he needs to right his season next week. But, be weary, he has already started to openly question Rex Ryan’s defensive strategy and gripe about Rex’s zone blitz schemes and being dropped back into coverage.
INJURIES
Kyle Williams went down with a knee Injury in week 6, leaving the Bills weak in the middle of their defensive line. He isn’t expected to play next week in London. Stefan Charles will step into his place this week.
Bobby Wagner missed last weeks game against the Panthers, but, all signs are pointing towards him being in the lineup this week, for a matchup against division rivals the San Francisco 49ers.
Shane Ray sprained his MCL and could be out of action for a month, maybe longer. He was supposed to supplement the pass rush in the absence of DeMarcus Ware. It doesn’t really matter who steps in to replace Ray, we a going too deep into the Broncos depth chart to find an effective weekly play.
Week 7 pickups
Stefan Charles–DL-Bills
He will be the man stepping in to fill the void left by Kyle Williams on the Bill D-line. We saw him Rotating reps in training camp with Kyle Williams and defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz has had nothing, but good things to say about him.

With the Injury to Kyle Williams, we will finally get to see Charles get to start in a real game. I’m excited about this and think he can be the most underrated add of week 7.
Sheldon Richardson-DL-Jets
Maybe he is available in your league, maybe he is already owned. The reason I’m including him is because he should be owned in every single IDP league. If for some reason he is available in your league, snatch him up.
There is the chance of another impending suspension, this might scare some GMs off him. I have reason to believe that this suspension won’t hit until next season. With Richardson back the SONS are fully present and I expect great thinks from this dominant Jet’s defensive line.
Dannell Ellerbe-LB-Saints
He started off the season injured, over the last 2 weeks he has been a consistent producer, logging 21 tackles. I’m getting the feeling he is about to make a statement. He is very underrated and under valued so in guessing he may still be available in your league.
Week 7 Sleeper
Antwon Blake-CB-Steelers
The Steelers defense has been a mess to start the season. It has gotten a little better but still needs to improve a great deal. Antwon Blake has been peppered with targets to start the year.
He has turned all those targets into double-digit tackle weeks. At the rate this offense can score once Big Ben gets back, combined with how weak this secondary is, Blake will continue to see lots of targets going his way. He has potential to have quite a few double-digit tackle games. He brings some serious CB2 upside to the table here.
