Top Pitching Options

Cole Hamels (DK – $10200) – Hamels has pitched well on the year, but hasn’t dominated like some of the other elite pitchers in baseball. He sports a 3.58 SIERA and 24.6% strikeout rate. While his numbers aren’t quite as good as Harvey’s, his elite matchup makes him one of the top pitching play tonight. The Rockies have a 0.296 wOBA (23^rd) and 25.4% strikeout rate (30^th) vs. LHH. And with the game away from Coors, Hamels is a very strong play and will help you differentiate as Harvey will be highly owned.

Trevor Bauer (DK – $8100) – Bauer has pitched well on the year with a 3.88 SIERA and 23.6% strikeout rate, and especially lately lasting 7 innings and only allowing one run in each of his last three starts. With a nice matchup against the Mariners, who have a 0.296 wOBA (23^rd) and 22.6% strikeout rate (27^th) vs. RHP, Bauer is the top mid-priced option.

Top Hitting Options

Mike Trout OF (DK – $4800) – I rarely roster Trout because his price is always so expensive and I don’t think he pays it off enough. But today, Trout is under $5K on DraftKings. The Angels face Anibal Sanchez who has a 0.383 wOBA vs. RHH on the year. He’s also given up 7 runs in each of his last two starts. At this price, you have to think about it.

Jason Kipnis 2B ($4700) – When DraftKings thinks Kipnis has a great matchup, they price him over $5000. Today, Kipnis has a great matchup against Taijuan Walker and he’s priced at $4700. Walker has a 4.64 SIERA (5.47 ERA) and gives up a 0.394 wOBA to LHH (and 0.382 wOBA to RHH). Kipnis has crushed RHP this year with a 0.465 wOBA and 0.200 ISO. He has a good chance to continue is 3 game double digit fantasy points streak.

Marcus Semien SS (DK – $3800) – Semien is in another nice spot today against Chis Capuano, who has really struggled this year – 7.36 ERA and 0.463 wOBA vs. RHH. At a weak position at a modest price in a strong matchup, Semien is a sold play.
