Chris Archer $10,700 @ BAL
Most teams are playing their 4th game of the season tonight, so there are slim pickings at the pitcher tonight. Most teams will be deploying the bottom of their rotations, so expect scores to be extremely high tonight. On Opening Day, Archer mowed down 2015’s best offense, striking out 12 Blue Jays in just 5 innings! Out of the 15 outs Archer recorded, 12 out of them came via the strikeout, which has fantasy owners drooling. Even though Baltimore’s lineup is filled with big name bats, Archer can bring it against the best hitters in baseball. Strikeouts are king on DraftKings, which is Archer’s specialty.
Yordano Ventura $9,200 vs. MIN
The Twins’ offense has really struggled this season, scoring just 6 runs during the entire Baltimore series and the O’s have arguably the worst pitching rotation in baseball. Ventura manhandled the Twins in his two starts against them last year, striking out 19 batters in 12 1/3 innings. Minnesota has hit just .216 against Ventura over his career, and the Twins have struck out 35 times already in just 3 games! Gotta love the matchup tonight for Yordano at home.

Nelson Cruz $4,700 vs. OAK
Cruz has an excellent matchup tonight against A’s starter, Eric Surkamp. Surkamp hasn’t been in the league long, but in his short tenure has given up 41 earned runs in his 57 career innings pitched(6.42 ERA) Although only about 28% of his ABs last year came against left-handed pitching, Cruz batted .357 and crushed 14 home runs against lefties in 2015. Seattle’s offense has been on ??? this season, scoring 10 and 9 runs in their last two games. The Mariners lineup should feast off of Surkamp and company tonight at Safeco.
Leonys Martin $2,800 vs. OAK
Martin was promoted to the leadoff spot for the Mariners, dropping Ketel Marte down to ninth in the batting order after Marte started off the year 0 for 9. Martin did not disappoint in his leadoff debut, going 3 for 5 on Wednesday with a 2 run home run in the win against the Rangers. Martin has tremendous value at just $2,800 tonight as he will see a ton of at-bats in the leadoff spot in one of the hottest lineups in baseball.
Mike Moustakas $3,800 @ MIN
The Royals only scored 4 runs in their opening 2 game series against the New York, but we’ll cut them some slack due to the incredible pitch rotation of the Mets. The Royals killed righties in 2015, notching the 4th best batting average in the majors with 99 HR against right-handed pitching. With the plethora of left-handed bats in the Royals lineup, they should feast off of Ervin Santana at home tonight against Minnesota.
Eric Hosmer $4,200 @ MIN
Like most other KC bats, Hosmer took it to the next level against righties in 2015, batting .310, with 14 of his 18 HR coming against righties. In just 12 career at-bats against Santana, Hosmer is batting .333 with 2 home runs, so if you’re stacking Royals, build your lineup around Hosmer, Gordon, and Moose.
Gregory Polanco $4,300 @ CIN
If you’re looking for a sneaky, low owned stack that can definitely do some damage, look no further than the Pittsburgh Pirates taking on Alfredo Simon tonight. In their one meeting with Simon last year, the Pirates exploded for 15 hits and 6 runs against him in just 5 innings. Polanco has had an excellent season up to this point, batting .432 and has walked at least once in every game so far on the young season. This is an excellent matchup tonight for all Pittsburgh bats in hitter-friendly Great American Ballpark, gotta love a Polanco, Marte, McCutchen stack tonight in Cincinnati. ****Make sure to check the weather on this game****
